U-40 Rod Bond

Product Details

The rod builders adhesive designed by a rod builder engineer for rod builders. A two-part, tough, durable yet flexible epoxy adhesive, made specifically for fishing rods and the unique applications that rod building requires.

Usage of this remarkable product is limited only by the rod builder's imagination. It can be molded or machined, drilled and tapped. Color can be added for special effect.

For handles; cork and synthetic, this adhesive acts as a lubricant so the handle can be precisely placed into its proper location.

Cork Rings - for custom handles
Reel Seats - metal, wood, composite, graphite
Ferrules - winding checks, hosels, butt caps, etc.

Very good and easy to work with

Very good and easy to work with using a popsicle stick to mix and apply. Had my Abu Garcia Veritas reel seat repaired in 24 hours and even installed a new rear grip on another Veritas I customized with a shorter handle. Everything went smooth and problem free !

The Best!

Hands down Rod Bond has become my favorite rod building epoxy. It is very flexible and strong once completely dried. I don’t find mixing an issue, and recycle little pieces of plastic coated cardboard from packages to mix on. Follow Falconers video on YT on how to mix this stuff properly.

Very, very good rod building epoxy that I’ve used now for reel seats, grips and cork rings. Though I still prefer Ultimate 3 for cork rings.
