Fantastic blank that makes a highly responsive spin cast rod. Well balanced when mated with a Vanford 4000 reel.
Built it for a customer, he really liked it, very sensitive.
Great sensitivity but much stiffer than I expected for a 7’ medium
I’m building this rod to donate to a local auction fundriaer so it won’t be used for a while. I like the blank so far and it seems like a good product.
Bought this thinking that the price and the name meant it was a high quality blank - TL:DR it isn't.
Terrible action - really whippy for a mod fast action rod and the blank was bent a good 10 degrees off center which unfortunately I discovered after building it. Really low quality blank - I mean seriously, this should be priced at 43, not 143.
