Very happy with these, not the lightest, not the fastest, but the best I have found in this price range. Great for a budget build for the customer that wants cheap.
honestly love every mhx blank I've ever used. weight, performance, and cost all taken into account they are the best bang for your buck. BUT WHY DID YOU DO AWAY WITH ALL WHITE DECALS! the decals used to be all white with the serial number, logo, blank number, line weight, lure weight, and maybe even power and action all in one leaving you room for your custom decal on top. now they use 2 different decals so if you want all the info you don't have room for a custom decal, plus they have metallic green in it. I get it those are their colors but they don't match most rod builds. I know I could give 5 stars still but I'd like to see them take customer thoughts into consideration. also the customer service is top notch.
I ordered one of these in 2022 and built it, it quickly became my go to mid finesse rod. Throwing tubes and neds on it. Unfortunately I lost that one midway through the season in 23. So I just ordered it again and am stoked to get it built and get back to using my favorite rod again.
Great service and quality product and excellent customer service
This rod is not what the description states, the rod I received is a slow tip and had the tip size is 3 not 5. In the pic I provided you can see a considerable difference in tip size between the 3 & 5. This rod should be a blank for pan fishing not a pig n jig or spinner bait. I was substituting this for a 7ft medium mag taper, due to the availability. I am really disappointed with this blank and the description. I wouldn’t have purchased knowing this. I live in Texas and shipping back Florida would cost me even more. Hope the description get changed. This is the first time I have been disappointed with MH blanks.
