I made two grinder rods for beach fishing for pompano and I’m not happy with them. The rods are too lightweight for my style of fishing and I already broke the tip off of one of them. The rods came out really nice but I don’t like them The for grips were made using the hdx 16 inch long grip and trot line wrapped two layers thick. The white rod I used 1 millimeter line and the black one I used 2 millimeter thicker line. The 2 millimeter works much better as it makes a more comfortable grip. They turned out well but I don’t like them. I made two different rods using the black hole 13 footers and I like them better and I’ll be making another one using the black hole blank. Freddie

4 stars I like the blank but I haven’t used it yet. Thin and light!
Have been unable tocomplete build as Mudhole dq'd their own guides, with no suggested substitute offered. Counter guyno helpat all.
