I was able to use the cap I bought now wait for the epoxy so I can cement it on.

I like these in heavy duty use situations
I took a cheapo 13' telescopic jigging pole and removed the rear line management prong and left the top one in place as a keeper. Then I added a custom fish-scale rod wrap, 18mm and 20mm CRB Door **** Style Butt Caps, and a CRB Premium Graphite Spinning Reel Seat. Everything worked as planned. 100% pleased with this purchase!
Quality
Put them on all my builds..the little bit of extra weight helps 2 balance out rod better.
