We will see how it holds up, have not used the reel seat yet and put it through the gauntlet.
I’m not real big on the insert reel seats unless it’s a 2 piece, they’re nice and really looks good on the rod you are building but this reel seat has the same affect when finished and less work installing it onto the blank
Would recommend to those who are looking to add that extra flare to a rod build my only complaint is that there aren’t more color options!
I’m doing a dark grey MHX SHOOTER with this reel seat it looks awesome especially with the cobalt blue metallic dragon scale I did in the handle between the butt and mid grip. It’s light and well balanced
