CRB Thread Carriage Magnets

I was hoping for tight wraps and keep amazing tension. Though it keeps some tension it does not keep the tension I was looking for. Though it still keeps the thread moving with no chance of breaking it if I forget that the tension is too high.

I bought these so the tension on the thread would be more even, though these work the opposite way. While wrapping, the thread will tighten down then spring up at once, over and over.

My original order got lost in transit… called customer service to inquire and they sent out a duplicate order immediately ! I eventually received both the orders and when I called to return the extra sent I was told to enjoy the extra!

Be careful putting the magnets on the threaded rod. If the polarity is not correct then the magnets slam together and crack

I went to change a spool.Took the magnets off, removed the spool of thread. Turned around to get a different spool of thread, and when I turn back the magnets were stuck together, and one was broken into.These thing are to delicate to use on the bench! back to the tension springs.
