locks colors in like expected.
Recommend at least two coats and fully dry between coats. Not sure of shelf life but I’ve had some bottles for a year. I try to keep one in reserve just in case.
Good product. Been using it for over 20 years with good results. Only issue is consistency from lot to lot. Some are very viscous and require thinning, others OK.
Strongly recommend diluting this when doing labels or applying feather inlays. Any CP that doesn’t soak into a thread will be very slightly visible once coated in epoxy. I usually dilute with 30-40% with Distilled Water. When doing CP on threads I leave it at 100%.
