A Time Saver!

No regrets here. They work like a charm with my drill. Prior to buying these I used the basic hand ones in the startup kit which were difficult and time consuming. Go for it.

An upgrade…

This is a huge upgrade from my last reamer set. The option to use by hand or on a drill gives you the flexibility to get the job done fast and right.

Great Reamers

These work great by hand or in a drill.

Take Your Time

These reamers work fantastic on any drill, but you MUST TAKE YOUR TIME. If you see smoke, stop and let it cool, regardless, dont cut the hole to size in the very first pass, take your time. You can make them fail in 10 seconds, and the tape will come off and the fiberglass rod can splinter if you don't TAKE YOUR TIME from the excess heat build up. There is no cooling fluid used, if you tried the same thing on a mill or lathe or even a drill, you would destroy the bit/tool in seconds. I've had the same set for 5 years and I have replaced the tape on the 2 middle tools because the grit got old, but I have never had the tape come off or the fiberglass rod fail from excess heat Work it SLOW.

Extreme Reamers Hold Up

I had my Sports Bio class of 90 students build rods and used the extreme reamers. They worked great and are very durable. My students put them to the test! I had them ream by hand but they can be attached to a drill to make fast work of cork handles and foregrips!
