Are use the on the ends, especially where a reel seat go into
I use these for the ends of grips and the undrilled version for fighting butts. They shape well and finish nicely. I adhere them to cork or cork burl using gorilla glue.
Based on the description, I thought this had a hole drilled partway through it. Turns out the hole is drilled clear through like other cork rings, even though it’s advertised for use as a rod butt.
