LZR Guide Technology
CRB introduces the LZR line of rod guides as its lightest and most advanced design yet in a family of high-performance rod components. Engineered with ultra-thin, super light zirconia rings, the LZR guides incorporate a high-density, polished insert ring that is 50% thinner than standard ceramic rings with an inner diameter up to 10% larger than comparable guides.
This guide technology allows the LZR series to be incredibly light, yet durable enough for the toughest braid—while also featuring enhanced heat dissipation that reduces wear on fishing line and increases casting distance as well as accuracy.

Insert Ring/Loop Sizing
The first measurement in a Tip-Top is the Outside Diameter (O.D.) of the ring (eyelet) in Millimeters. Generally, the O.D. of the ring will match the smallest guide on the rod. Standard sizes are 6, 8 and 10mm for conventional rods, while heavier saltwater rods may go as high as a 16mm ring.
Tube Sizing
The second measurement in a Tip-Top is the Inside Diameter (I.D.) of the tube, measured in 1/64ths of an inch. Tube sizes generally range from 3.5 to 12, but they go all the way up to 32 (.500") in Big Game roller tops. The tube size should correspond to the tip size given by the manufacturer of your blank.

This was a repair done for a friend’s rod.
I have been using CRB LZR GUIDES AND BOTH MEDIUM AND LIGHT TIP TOP FOR THE LAST 3 years. I recommend LZR guides and tip tops.
Very nice and really like the smaller ring design.
This top worked great. It was put on a Lamiglas 10' Surf blank.
I like the design
After Fuji began discontinuing many of the guides that I use to use on my builds, I thought I would give these a try. Even before I built my own rods, I wouldn't own a rod that didn't have Fuji guides. After about a year or so of hard use and some abuse, I can honestly say these are my favorites now. They're light, strong and dependable. I almost exclusively build rods for big swimbaits and these have held up and perform excellent. As of now, I have zero insert breakage, no guides that are bent or damaged or any guides that show any signs of wear other than maybe a few spots where the coating has rubbed off of the frame and I can think of more than one occasion that the guide(s) should have been damaged or broken due to my own fault. I'm not rough with my gear but all of my gear is used like tools because that's exactly what they are. I think I have four rods wrapped with these guides now and I have zero concern moving forward with them. I definitely recommend wrapping your next custom build these guides! You won't regret it!
