The checkerboard and diamond wedge jigs all had slits that were wide enough to allow the saw blade to engage without binding, but that wasn't the case with the slicing jig included in my kit. The relieved face of the lower half of it wasn't machined deep enough to allow the slitting saw blade to pass all the way through the cork ring without hanging up on the jig about 2/3 of the way in. I had to file and stone that relieved area nearest the raised pad that's supposed to create the saw gap in order to get the saw to pass all the way through the cork ring. It works fine now but it's a bit disappointing that it wasn't 100% given the price.
