I've made several fly rods using this grip. I like it. Fits my hand very well. I use a cork treatment on it, and have never had any problems with it at all.

Bad shape, bad cork - Avoid this product
I bought 2 of these this to use on 9' #4 flyrods in combination with the AW12 reel seat. The cork is full of voids and has been heavily filled. The shape is not the standard reversed half wells as the center of the grip is much too large in diameter. This grip has been properly inletted to fit the AW 12 seat but the shape and cork quality are both horrible. You do not want this on your custom rod! Keep looking!
