These SSR spinning guides are really impressive. If you wanna guide that is a little less expensive but can still hold up to aggressive Fishing. These are the ones to get.
The magnets work great for their intended purpose. The problem I have is that 2 of the 4 magnets would not fit over the bolt and there was no way to install them. I used a dremel tool with a stone and had to grind out the center for it to go on fully. I put those on the insides and the ones that fit on the outside so they could float.
Good but I would recommend getting one that has a hood cut out already. Not much material to cut and I was using a carbon reel seat sold by mudhole. But quality and everything else is on poiny

I am currently reconditioning my GLoomis IMX rod and the rubber winding was never going to cut it. The black aluminum winding matches well with the original reel seat and will also match well with the American Black Titanium guides I will be putting on.
I am currently reconditioning my GLoomis IMX rod and the original grip was always shorter than what I would have liked. The new grip is a little longer and feels even better after I sealed it with Cork Seal. I will be replacing the guides too.
I’m a first time Fuji thread user, was introduced to pro wrap early on in the rod craft and kinda settled for it.
I can’t outright say that prowrap is inferior thread… seen some great work w it! However , using fuji thread i find it lays down really smooth, burnishes well and takes finish readily. Have also applied CP and it seems to absorb it well w little to none splotching .

I’ve used these guides and hook keepers on several rods.
They look great and perform just as well.
I had to start color locking Pro Wrap Metallic, have a gold wrapped rod fade from sustained use in the sun!
