When Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) Florida reached out to Mud Hole President Brook Oliva about a new scholarship program in development, he knew it would be in perfect alignment with Mud Hole's existing education program charter. Led by Mud Hole Education Program Director Anthony Youmans, the Mud Hole Education Program has been working closely with educators, youth groups and clubs such as the Boy Scouts of America and 4-H, for over 13 years, bringing rod building into the classrooms as an education tool to support agriculture, trade, and conservation programs - as well as career development opportunities.
