The MB843 is by far the most popular, and probably the most versatile, rod blank you could build on for bass fishing. It will serve as a great rod for worming, spinnerbaits & buzzbaits, jigging, and even makes a great shiner rod. This is a must have build for any freshwater fisherman!

Ordered this kit for my first build. Helped me to understand all of the components that I need for each build.
Bought the MB843 rod kit with the CRB rod building kit and so far it's been great. Started just replacing some damaged guides to get my feet wet. Now the 1st rod is in progress ... Winn Grips and reel seat in place. Starting on the guides. So far, so good and thanks to Matt Sefan for getting me starting.
