These blanks make great catfish rods and we also use them for pulling divers for snagging spoonbill in Missouri. This paticular rod was this blank cut down to 5'6" for a custom sucker fish snagging rod. Customers are happy with These blanks.
Building a gator rod on this blank. Very happy with the power and action.
I built this blank into a spiral wrap for bottom fishing. Mangroves are notoriously difficult to fool. Thanks to what is a fairly light tip this rod is fantastic for what I built it for. Considering building another just like it. A+++
