All models are fast tapers with lightning fast tips. The two 4'6" models are designed to fit perfectly into a #2 aluminum butt to give you the ideal 6' to 6'6" trolling models.

Finished the rod for my son and went out sword fishing and he had a top line out and started catching mahi with it and

I saw the video that was recorded of Chris’s build on the PTSW MHX Series blank and got inspired. I really liked the fact that he provided part numbers of the components he utilized. I made a few slight adjustments in what handle I preferred but I think it came out pretty good. Overall I’m very satisfied with the performance of these blanks and recommend them for anyone fishing offshore with live bait!
I used these offshore power tip blanks for trolling. So far no complaints.
