CRB's Surf and Inlet rod blanks are designed with a focus on material, taper, and performance. Using graphite of 30 million modulus for a combination of sensitivity, strength, lighter weight, and smaller rod diameters, these blanks have the correct tapers and the tough, durable performance you need for surf, pier, and inlet fishing.
Choose from seven models based on line & lure rating, and the demands of your target fishing application. Each model features the length to bomb casts farther than you can see and the mod-fast action to stay hooked up with a wide range of baits, lures, and hook styles.
For those wanting to take your fishing to new destinations, the Surf and Inlet Series has four 2-piece options as well. The CRB Surf and Inlet series are a must for any shore-based angler looking for the highest in performance with unmatched affordability.

Awesome for the price
Blank has some weight to it, but it doesn't matter when used for casting and soaking some bait on bottom. Love the 50/50 split on these blanks. Attached are some pics of the finished rod

Best Inlet, Bridge and Pier Rod for the Money
This series of blanks are incredible, and the price you get them at makes them even better! I built the 1087 first which was a great plug rod, it absolutely slung the big windcheater. Then I wanted something slightly heavier so I built the 1088. This has been the perfect all around snook, tarpon, redfish rod. I can't recommend these enough.
