Phenix Abyss Blank, 8'0", 8-20lb, PSX-805

Constructed with Toray Graphite/S-Glass composites, the Abyss rod blank was designed for West Coast style surface jig and live bait anglers. Traditionally, rod blanks of similar applications tend to be much heavier and have a wider base diameter, which often leads to casting fatigue. The Abyss rod blanks are built lighter, have smaller diameters yet still providing superior lifting power. Also, the Abyss incorporates laser etched technology, which adds to its unique appearance.
