The 3K carbon twill combined with the high-intermediate modulus unidirectional material provides a stiffer handle section with increased recovery rate and extra power flex focused in the perfect blended transition. The blank action and load distribution begins in the unidirectional material which transitions into the carbon twill to provide better casting, hook sets, and fishing fighting power making them "better blanks".
