Fulfillment center to remain open, showroom still closed until further notice.

Thank you again to all of our customers.  We want to touch base with all of you at least once per week to keep you updated on what's going on at Mud Hole.

First, we are still processing and shipping web orders and will continue to do so as long as it is deemed safe.

Second, we continue with our strict company wide sanitization measures and social distancing policies throughout all departments.

Third, the following is an updated list of vendors that may experience shipping delays due to government-mandated closures:

First and foremost, thank you to all of our customers who continue to support us during these difficult times. Effective 4/2/2020 Governor DeSantis has issued a state wide shelter in place order for non-essential travel. Mud Hole Custom Tackle, Inc. is permitted to continue operations as a commercial facility supporting e-commerce through distribution, warehouse and call center support. We will continue to process and ship web orders as long as it is deemed safe to do so.

We have expanded our sanitization measures company wide and implemented strict social distancing policies throughout all departments.

We appreciate you all, and will continue to work as quickly and safely as possible to get your orders out the door. Please continue to monitor our site and social channels for additional updates. Stay safe and happy building!

We would like to update you on the status of a few things.

VENDOR UPDATE:

The following vendors may experience shipping delays due to government-mandated closures:

• Aftco
• Winn
• Phenix
• Pacific Bay
• Lamiglas
• Calstar
• Seeker
• Flex Coat
• REC

While many of our other vendors continue to ship products, there are continued delays from suppliers domestically and internationally. Please know, Mud Hole is working diligently to expedite products, and placing blanket orders to maintain our supply, but disruptions and delays will unfortunately be inevitable given the current environment.

We also may not be able to establish an accurate ETA for many items as there are variables involved that we are simply unable to control. But as always, we still have a robust inventory and we are more than happy to work with customers to find readily available alternatives.

ORDER PROCESSING:

We have experienced a surge in orders as builders try to stock up, or get new builds going during the potential shut downs. As Americans around the U.S. hunker down, our fulfillment staff is working as quickly as possible to process your orders accurately and effectively. We are facing the same challenges that many businesses across the country are grappling with day-to-day, but we remain committed to the rod building community, education programs that rely on our products to continue their agricultural programs, and other small businesses. We continue to ask and thank you for your patience as we have experienced higher than usual employee absences out of an abundance of caution to protect all staff.

We will continue to post updates on the status of our fulfillment center and known vendor delays, as well as other product information as it becomes available to us.

MUD HOLE LIVE:

In regards to tonight’s scheduled Mud Hole Live: All About Marbling episode, out of concern for the health and safety of our Mud Hole Live crew, it is not a good time for them to huddle up and put on a live production, so tonight’s Marbling episode will not be broadcasted live. However, we will be running last year's episode on Marbling and answering questions in real time using the comments section on each of the broadcast channels.

Mud Hole Custom Tackle remains committed to serving the rod building community during the COVID-19 crisis. We are committed to the health and safety of our staff and our customers. We will continue to abide by public health and/or government agency orders as the situation unfolds.

Out of concern for the health and safety of our customer service and fulfillment team Mud Hole’s walk in showroom will be closed until further notice. If you are a local customer, please call in your order or submit it online for local pick up. Prior to arrival, notify us and we will have the order waiting for you.

To all other customers, we are actively fulfilling orders as quickly as possible. As the situation has continued to unfold there have been some disruptions in our supply chain on certain goods…small businesses that supply the rod building community are faced with the same difficult situations and may be delayed providing orders to us. Mud Hole still has millions of dollars in inventory on hand. In the event an item is back ordered please reach out to our support staff by phone, email or social media and we will be more than happy to work with you on a recommendation for a possible alternative.

As more information becomes available, or the situation changes we will provide continued updates on our operations.
