Good epoxy

Only a 4 out of 5 star because there are better epoxy’s out there

Why no longer available in single rod 2 oz size....and same with ProPaste

I'm a repeat customer puttiing together a long order for a new fly rod after a 3 yr COVID haitus, but am discouraged to see my costs escalate because MudHole is no longer offering 2 oz sizes of ProPaste and ProCoat. You probably know these have a limited shelf life and if not used for another rod for 2-3 yrs need to be completely replaced. It would be considerate to see you offer 'special order' 2oz versions for single rod projects, or, discount the 4 oz when accompanied with a blank order.

Yellowed badly in less than a year

I used this finish on my white MHX 7' light power spinning rod. In less than 1 season, the finish yellowed badly on the decorative wrap. This is probably exaggerated by the pure white rod blank, but I have noticed it yellowing over the silver trim wraps on my other builds from the past 2 years as well. My rods are stored neatly on pegboard in my garage and are very well cared for. Wish I had stuck with FlexCoat that I have trusted for the past 25yrs!!!

Pro coat high build

Great product, used for years. This product is thick, but again use thin coats. If you have bubbles use some heat which does thin a little, but great product. This rod was made for my brother after he passed. That’s a copy of his badge under the guide.

I love pro coat high build.
Only need 1 coat and it's self leveling. Also the bubbles are very small and easily removed.
And gotta love it when they ask you if you want a drawing on the box.
I asked for a striper and they nailed it!!
