inshore and offshore

Probably the best one blank for both inside and outside light tackle fishing. Excellent casting power combined with enough power to pull slot size snook and redfish from under docks yet totally functional for large snapper, grouper, etc. for offshore. As a Charter captain I find this to be a go to blank as it prevents me from having to stock the boat with other rods of different actions and sizes. As a suggestion only the blank is a bit overkill for small trout over the grass flats and I would highly recommended the 902. To sum up, if you want or need a one blank setup for your fishing equipment go with the light saltwater 904.

cast well, soft, comfortable, moderate fast action is favorite.

7’6 medium heavy. can’t go wrong, strong, comfortable, inshore and offshore cast enough well with lure.
i built second one. the blank after completing look like reliable, comfortable
offshore : catch mahi, kingfish, cobia with lure
inshore : catch any fishes with lure , popping cork.

Casting

The MHX L904, for a strong inshore rod it has a surprising great casting distance. I’ve bought 3 for family and friends. Only complaint is the white rods scratch to easily. Black ones may be the same but might not notice because it’s black under the surface coat.

7’6 - L904 medium heavy is perfect

i am very happy 7’6 medium heavy.
- i have bought 2ones 7’6 medium heavy. Elastic, curvy at the top, very lightweight, it cast far, soft, good action, relax action.
- its best choice for snook lure, kingfish, cobia, popping cork, surf, pier….light offshore with lure
- 7’6 mh L904 is great for casting lure. can’t go wrong with it.
without 7’6 heavy is ok, light offshore bottom, perfect popping offshore , many hooks bottom fishing in pier , handle big snook , big ladyfish, giant bluefish . i make it be conventional rod with spinning/ casting guide , Fuji MN medium duty guides, or LSV, ….
- i will buy more
