The new RDS units offers Rod Builders a durable, easy to use drying unit that is perfect for novice and professionals. Plus a price point unheard of in the industry without sacrificing functionality. Each unit features either a 9 or 18 RPM Drying motor with 6' cord, form fitting chuck and one Dryer Support Stand.

Improved Clutch Assembly

The RDS Dryer Clutch Assembly is designed to work exclusively with the CRB RDS Rod Drying System. The Dryer Clutch allows you to stop the rotation of your rod with out turning off your RDS Dryer. This allows for complete control and improved finishing during the coating process.

The dryer is very quiet. I like it. Thanks

Kenny stabler (Philadelphia, PA, US)
Simple yet effective

Have the rbs g2 wrapper and I still use these 2 I have because then I can work on other rods while epoxy is drying or use the g2 as a third

Tony Richard (Bowdoin Center, ME, US)

I have had know problems with this dryer besides it lifts a little sometimes but put a block on it or some type of weight on it ands it's fine been using this for three years and I love it

Daryl Ferguson (St Louis, MO, US)
Works Pretty Well

My only complaint (minor) is it takes quite a bit of pressure to stop the rod from rotating, much more than I anticipated. I *think* this is what they're referring to in the "Adjusting the Clutch" section of the instructions. I hope it is. If it can be adjusted to where it doesn't require as much pressure to stop the rod from turning, then I'd definitely give it a 5 star rating.

Not good

The clutch system is loose and slips. So the rod stops turning. Also the shaft out of the motor itself is loose and wobbles.Had to tape the clutch to keep it turning.Just get the $49 one. This one is not worth the grief.
