The Butt Wrap Alignment Tool streamlines the process of laying out and aligning even the most complex decorative wraps! The V-notch base cradles and centers the blank perfectly while the attached aluminum straight edge allows builders to line up the crosses of butt-wraps on any axis. In addition, a built-in sightline through the base allows for a perfect 180 degree view to accurately mark your rod blank. Molded rubber feet on the bottom and back of the base provide a steady, non-slip grip on your workbench while rotating the alignment tool.

Not used to using it. Don't know if it was worth the time
This is the 1st time using an alignment tool. I am fairly new and have only done 2 cross wraps prior. I put my eva grips on 1st because I was waiting on tool to come back in stock. So I did my alignment while on the stands. I had to tighten down the springs because it kept moving and I had trouble seeing thru the slot on the bottom to get my 180* axis. I will try to do my pattern 1st next time. I feel if used properly this will be a game changer for me. I'm happy I purchased it.
Just purchased the Butt Wrap Alignment Tool and it worked perfectly the first time. This was my first attempt at a diamond wrap and the tool worked perfectly. I followed Hunter and Chris’s Mudhole Live videos and was successful on my first attempt following their instructions! Cannot wait to try a chevron wrap next!
Better quality product than the first version. Doesn’t bind up near as much sliding up and down. Screen print measurements seem slightly more precise than older tape. 180 axis slot is a nice usable addition.
